Apple unterbindet offenbar Tracking von iPhone Apps
Patrick Ludolph, Auto des Webanalytics-Newsblogs Web Analytics News hat die Entwickler-Richtlinien von Apple für die derzeit höchst beliebten iPhone Applikationen unter die Lupe genommen und spannende Details darin zu Tage gefördert. So lautet es im Absatz 3.3.9, dass die Verwendung von Drittanwendungen und damit auch den Einsatz von Tracking- und Web Analytics Tools untersagt ist:
… the use of location-based User Data for enabling targeted advertising in an Application is prohibited unless targeted advertising is the purpose of such Application …
… the use of third party software in Your Application to collect and send Device Data to a third party for processing or analysis is expressly prohibited.
